Jose Francisco Ruiz, Mexican-American Tenor has appeared across

 

the country in locations such as New Hampshire, San Francisco,

 

New York, Hawaii, and his home city of Los Angeles. Mr. Ruiz

 

has workedshopped and premiered works, as well as

 

performed  Recitals (New York Area), Concerts,  Musicals (Tony in

 

West side Story, Dentist  in Little Shop of Horrors), Operas (Tamino

 

in Die Zauberflote, Nadir in Pecheur de Perles), and Oratorios

 

(Evangelist in St Mattew's Passion, Boy in Crumb's Ancient Voices

 

of Children) for Opera America, One World Symphony, New York

 

Cantata Singers, Amore Opera, Manhattan School of Music Opera

 

and Baroque Opera, Santa Monica Opera Theater, El Camino

 

CollegeOpera/ Musical Theater, Los Angeles Harbor College,

 

Empire Opera and NubianConservatory in Brooklyn.

 

Mr. Ruiz has worked with the likes of Johanna Nachef, Winston

 

Vogel, Sung Jin Hong, Kenneth Cooper, David Labowitz, Laurent

 

Pillot, Raymond Beegle, Sue Anne Pinner, Paul Sperry, Mignon

 

Dunn, Donna Vaughn, Jorge Parodi,Mark E. Swinton to name a few.

 

Mr. Ruiz studied voice at the Manhattan School of Music under

 

the tutelage of Trish McCaffrey.

 

He currently lives in New York.
